I am very pleased to launch my new web pages for my healing practice.  Now  my clients can leave feedback and testimonials of their experiences by submitting comments in the feedback and testimonials section, which I am excited about.  I hope people will use this feature to share their experiences.  

Although I am often asked as a healer, I still don't really know how the energy healing works; I no longer feel this is important. I can only tell you of my experiences over the years of Reiki and energy healing practice.

The energy healing manifests as bringing stillness where there was turmoil; sometimes bringing calm where there is panic; or meeting debilitating fear with unconditional acceptance and love.  It can seem to accompany someone into the depths of despair without judgment, and with complete acceptance that seems to assist in bringing about a profound inner reconciliation.

I can experience a merge between myself as healer and you as client that momentarily feels like not knowing where I end and you begin, letting the depth of you fully resonate with me. This seems to precede a movement to greater depths by the healing.  I feel that I am not 'doing' the healing itself; I sense that it flows through everything and that it responds to us both as we work, to the merging I may experience with you. I feel that I can guide it to an extent, or rather, it guides me, but it cannot be forced to go where my client is not willing to allow it, and the consequences it would require of them.

Often, I start by letting go of myself; immersing myself in the presence of the healing energy and almost stop being a separate person for a time.  Sometimes an atmosphere of palpable calm is created which then expands to the whole room and envelops everyone present.  I sometimes use music and my own beeswax candles to support the healing and assist me in creating this environment, but this is not necessary.  Where appropriate, I gently attune to my client but then let go into wherever the healing moves for them. Usually I feel a sense of an opening, relaxing, and allowing that lets me in, lets the healing flow and I feel the merging deepen, letting the healing fully resonate with us both.

The Reiki and energy healing practice that I offer is absolutely non-religious and dogma free.  However some of my clients have at times reported profound spiritual experiences, even feelings of connection with the divine; manifestations of Love; a sense of presence. While these experiences are personal and I do not know what they mean, they do seem to have a profoundly healing and transformational effect on my clients who have experienced them.

I often feel that the spiritual energy healing is something to do with unconditional love?  And that this level of love heals? I have worked with clients who have experienced deep trauma and abuse, and witnessed a profound reconciliation and acceptance of self, allowing my client to truly heal and then, inevitably, move on. It's as if this level of love transforms?  I have worked with clients debilitated by deep fear and utter panic and witnessed an inconceivable degree of transformation, changing disfunction into a sense of deep calm and acceptance of being. I have worked with clients on the brink of death and brought quiescence through the healing. The more effective it becomes - the less I feel I know how it works. And I am glad of this.
